Mornings???

So It's 5:30 in the morning and I am sitting at my desk at work wondering why the heck people are up this early in the morning....I pulled a night shift which was a 12 hour shift so boy am I tired....I just want to go home and sleep in my nice warm bed......I Like my new job but the night shifts I really dislike.....I have been pretty lucky and never had very many....I find the last hour is always the hardest....It feels like time is never going to end....One of the girls said that I should pick up knitting....boy, isn't that funny...can u imagine me sitting down knitting...I would have the needle and wool trown in the garbage...lol....maybe i should start cross stitch...nah....LOL...i think i will stick to my magazines..whoever knows me knows that magazines are something that I enjoy....LOL.....I like reading about other peoples problems so mine seems so small.....HA HAHA HAHA...Anywho i must go and press on till 7........later

Tougher Than The Rest!!!

So today is Canada day and a few of us went up to clarenville to see the fireworks...wow!! I was impressed with them this year....Boy, they must have spent our hard earned taxes on that one....lol.....I am very honored to live in Canada. There is no where else I would rather live then in the God's country of Canada...

So basically I have been thinking about different things about life the past few weeks...Like for instants the good ole saying u can't always get what u want..now I feel this statement is very true..I mean sometimes the thing u want the most seems so impossible to have and what do u do about it? The answer is nothing..I mean what can u do about it...I mean u spend all of your life doing the best u can do and wanting the best for yourself and then all of sudden nothing else really matters when that one thing u really really want u can't have...I mean i have realized this past little while that as humans we are pretty selfish...I mean we have everything we need and then we want more....What more else do we want? I think that we take the smallest things for granted. I think if we all, especially including ME would just stop and count our blessings for the small stuff then the stupid selfish ways of us would go away....I know myself the more I get the more I want...It does not make me a bad person cause we are all like it..I remember hearing a preacher preach onetime and basically was talking about humans and our selfish motives and he kept using the phrase STUPID HUMANS...It was really funny.... So how do we change this way of thinking? I personally think that everything happens for a reason so patiences is basically the key...who has patiences? NOT ME.....but i do believe patiences is the key answer.....if we actually set aside our worries , our plans, our future and give them totally to God i really believe that we would have a different way of thinking....Question is how do u totally give them to God? I can't answer that question because i am still trying to figure that out....But all I know is that everyday I am learning to truly rely on God and I am learning to start counting more of my blessings then counting my "u can't always get what u want" attitude.....I need to realize that life isn't always what u think it's gonna be and plans are going to change but the reassurance of all of this is that there is a plan and there is a future and whatever it is, its going to be ok.

Well it's been a while since I wrote a blog....but I have had a excellent excuse...I recently got a new job...I am now currently employed at the G.B Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville...........It has been pretty funny cause I was doing my internship there and then a few weeks later I went for an interview and got the job there.....Awsome eh? Most people say that i am pretty lucky but I say I am pretty BLESSED.........In all honesty I was not planning to stay around here cause there is not a whole lot here to keep me here but I just could not pass up this job....So sometimes u just got to make sacrifices to get ahead in life.........Shauna Lee and Jason are back home and that is awsome.........I really am going to miss them when they go back............ So Nothing else new is really happneing.........I promise I won't be as long as I was before writing.....PEACE OUT...........

New Beginnings

You know when u start reading a good book and you just can't wait to get to the next chapter to see whats going to happen. Well, life is like a book, u never know from chapter to chapter whats going to happen....life is one big mystery....one day u could wake up and everything is going good and the next day your life could be turned upside down.........Someone once told me that it's not the situation that determines the outcome, its how u react to the situation. Life really isn't fair sometimes, and people that act like your friends sometimes aren't really your friends......Life is how u make it........You can cry and be sad over your situation or you can do something about it....I am learning very slowly that new beginnings aren't the easiest but I think they are going to be really exciting..... "Hold on for the ride."

Another One Bites The Dust!

So here I am finally stepping into the next part of my life...."THE REAL WORLD" what is the real world really??? I am finally finished school for good...I can remember walking into my kindergarden class holding my mom's hand so scared to let her hand go....I can remember sitting down to the table while I took everything out of my bookbag and showed Mrs. Wiseman......Then I moved to elementary school, boy was that scary........A new school and a new stepping stone in my life....Then High school, which I loved...Leaving high school was a very sad time for me...Leaving all my friends and now having to decide what to do with my life....Well here I am 4 years later..(Boy don't the time go buy so fast).....Finished school.......I am sad about leaving college........I love it here..I feel safe here............College has been the best experience of my life....I met alot of wonderful people here..................Now, I have to move on and go into the next part of my life.......This stage of my life that I am into, I realize that I have to really depend on God more then ever before...I am scared of moving into this new stage of my life.....But I am totally ready to give God my new job to come, my relationship to be and where I am going to move to.........He knows the plans for me, plans to prosper and give me a hope and a future....So I have no worries......that does not mean that I am not still scared cause I still am but I know that I have someone with me all the way through life.......PEACE OUT!!

1st Exam Finished!!!

SO here I am all in one big panic cause I had a final tonight...SO me and my friend Ashley is walking to the final, actually running cause we are late.......we are both in a panic cause we think we don't know a thing....So, now the final is done and I feel pretty good about it.....SO myself and ashley realized that we tend to stress out way too much and think we don't know anything but actually do...loves ya ashley.....but now there are 4 more to go and hopefully I will get through them ok....So I personally think finals should not be worth so much.....Why should a teacher basically grade so much on one little test.........You do so much work through out the year and I think that should be took into consideration more than it is...Just say something happend that day that was really bad and took your focus of the exam...that does not mean that you don't know anything, that just means you are having a bad night...........so as you can tell I do not like finals....lol........Maybe one day if I become a teacher I can try and change this stupid system...HA HA......Can you image me as a teacher, I would scare the poor kids....LOL

TRUE LOVE?????

So I had coffee tonight with a wonderful newly engaged couple who I absolutely adore.....They have so much love and joy of a newly engaged couple.....It got me thinking, most of you that know me are saying "oh know, CG is thinking again, you better get the fire hose" LOL..I just wonder what Love really is? Is love what we really think it is or is it just a crazy idea that someone came up with...Well, as you may know me, I haven't had much luck with the finding true love......I think we as humans put too much emphasis on having to be with someone to be truly happy. yes, it's amazing when you find that special someone and begin a life together...But me right now in my life I have my independance and I am ok with the fact that I am alone...Yes, Sometimes i miss that campionship and someone to talk to and share my dreams and hopes with..But I know that God has someone special for me and all I have to do is be patient...So LOVE what is it really????? You know my defintion of true love.....When God sent his only son to die on a cross for my sins....boy, thats True Love.....Can us humans measure up to a love such as that?

Computers GRRRR!!!!!!!

So I am hating computers and MSN right now...I was like an hour trying to get msn to work...........so finally it works.........So computers are a wonderful thing but in all honesy I hate them...lol....So I had my interview today..It went well....I really want this work term....So who knows.................so whats up with the snow storm today....Like, hello, are we back in December..LOL....Just can't miss anymore school this week................well I don't have much to say tonight so maybe i will write tomorrow.....PEACE OUT!!!!

New Born Blogger

So here I am watching my favourtie t.v show "Desperate Housewives" I know shockin of me!!! So I decided that I would follow the crowd and start writing blogs....ha ha....Not really!! I think it's a really cool idea.........This is Sunday again and I spent the night at school once again...I spend more time at school then I do at my own home.....School is over whelming me...I am finished in two weeks and then I start my work term...I have an interview tomorrow for my workterm at the hospital...So hopefully that will go well...I am really scared about leaving school..There is so much change happening in the next little while and the truth be told I am not dealing with it really well......When your little all you worry about is who your going to play with and trying to get away from the little girl with the big bangs who pulls on your hair(you know who you are)..lol.....and then you grow up........boy, growing up is highly over rated......But there is one thing I have learned in the past little while, that is, you have to grow up and there is no stopping it and you have to learn to accept the changes and realize everything works out in the end.........so CHANGE is not always a bad thing...........It's how you deal with the change that really matters....
